Railsplitter Veterinary Wellness Center is teaming up with Lincoln Park District and Mike Bieser to help teach basic training techniques such as: leading on a leash, heel, sit and stay. Our goal is to help families enjoy their canine companions by providing basic training techniques. Obedience training is the very best thing you can do for the relationship with your dog because it helps to establish your dog's place in the world and understand right from wrong.

Whether you are shooting skeet or hunting big game, this course is for you. Illinois State Law requires that anyone born on or after January 1, 1980 will not be issued a hunting license unless they take a valid Hunter Education Course. Persons completing the minimum 10-hour class and successfully passing the final examination will receive a State of Illinois Certificate of Competency and a graduate patch.

This is a FREE event for all ages! Come get up close and personal with dump trucks, semis, tractors, combines and lots of other equipment. We've even invited the police, paramedics and different branches of the armed services so you can see how they dress for work.
