Pickleball & Tennis

Lincoln Park District offers 4 well-maintained tennis/pickleball courts available for use with an additional fee. Access to these courts is included in the Pickleball Passport and Fit/Net memberships during established Open Play times only.

For a small additional fee, you can make court reservations online for up to 2 hours, with entry fees to be paid at the time of use. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation to allow others the opportunity to play. Reservation holders who do not arrive within 15 minutes of their reserved time will have their court opened up to other patrons on a first-come, first-serve basis. Court cancellations within 24 hours of the time reserved are non-refundable.   

Open Play pickleball is a great opportunity to join in and get connected with the Pickleball community. Participants must check in at the desk prior to entering the court area. LPD is not “policing” Open Play. It is designed to be social and recreational. It is not designed to be a “free” reservation for a specific group of players. Players should rotate appropriately, so everyone has an opportunity to participate. Players must check in and pay at the desk before proceeding to the courts. If play extends beyond the 15-minute grace period before and after Open Play times, an additional hour must be paid or an additional punch deducted. 

Open Play Pickleball times are as follows:

- Mon, Wed, Fri: 7am-11am;

- Tue, Thur: 9am-11am and 4pm-6pm;

- Tue: 6pm-8pm (Court 1 only)

- Sun: 2pm-4pm (Court 2 only; Court 1 when available) and 4pm-6pm (both courts). 

Open Play Tennis times are as follows (on Court 2 only):

- Mon, Wed, Fri: 11am-1pm

- Mon: 5pm-6pm

- Sun: 6pm-8pm

Pickleball Punch Pass:

$50.00 for 1-hr or $80.00 for 2-hr

Tennis Punch Pass:

$105 for 1-hr

Includes:

• 20 visits*
• Please note that an add’l punch is required for time overages

* Court reservation required to ensure availability. 

Court reservation fees:

$10 for full court; $5 for half court

Pickleball Passport:

$70.00 / month

Includes:

• Unlimited Open Play Pickleball access during scheduled Open Play times.
• Based on a first come availability.

$100 / month

Includes:

• Strength Pass access PLUS:
• Unlimited Open Play Sessions

LPD policy allows for a 15-minute grace period (total) before and after designated play time.

(An additional hour must be paid or an additional punch deducted if a player continues to play on the court beyond the 15-min grace period.)
